*story time*
When I finished this piece, I've placed her standing on top of my wardrobe right next to my Calathea Warscewiczii--not realising that she's the first thing I saw (blurred view, though) when I woke up the next morning--had to put my glasses on as I'm blind without it! A few moments later, I looked to my left window and saw that the sky was so stunning and so clear, so I took this painting to the kitchen as I wanted to clearly see what she looks like. And there I was in awe--she was so vibrantly shining on her own beauty--the gold mandala on the corner, is the wow! of her. After a few sips of my morning coffee, and lots of staring, that's when I decided to call her 'Colours Of The Sky'.
Beyond the photos
No matter how terrible or good enough I take my photographs I can never convey how spectacular my artworks look in real life. There are a lot of reason for this - lighting, viewing distance, camera lenses, mobile phone screens and image compression. It’s the same for all of my paintings and this one especially.
